My name is Max Turtz and I am a student at the Trevor Day School in New York City. In NYC, biking has become a popular mode of transport which makes safety an even greater priority. I have seen what happens when cars are unaware of bikes or when bikes cannot see pedestrians at night. These situations have occurred too often and must be avoided. To prevent collisions, it is vital to equip bikers with lights that make their position easily apparent to both cars and pedestrians. With this simple addition, pedestrians, drivers, and riders can all be safe in the city that never sleeps.

My name is Jude Tehrani, I am a High-School student enrolled at Trevor Day School in New York City. Similar to Boca Raton and other counties in Florida, NYC has a large biking community of which I am a member of. I have witnessed many occasions where people have gotten in terrible accidents because drivers are unable to see bikers in the dark. Knowing that these sorts of accidents could be avoided emphasizes the importance of bike lights, which inspires me to provide them for everyone, saving countless lives along the way.

My name is Taylor Ripps and I am a student at North Broward Prep School in Coconut Creek, FL. Biking has always been something that I have deeply enjoyed, as it was a hobby that I would frequently do with my grandparents, when I was younger. Bike safety is something that more people need to become educated on, as bike collisions have become a more recurring accident. Many of these situations can be avoided with the simple use of bike lights. I believe that with the spread of awareness on the importance of bike lights, bikers will have the chance to feel more relaxed and comfortable. 

My name is Cooper Mark and I am a High-School student at the Trevor Day School in New York City. Similarly to many other parts of the world, biking in New York City is one of the primary forms of transportation. In a chaotic city like Manhattan, there are many cars and moving pieces on the streets. Bikers are at a serious risk of injury and even death if they are riding without proper equipment, like bike lights. The fact that these life-changing injuries could be prevented with something as little as a bike light inspires me to spread awareness about this matter and ultimately save lives.
