My name is Dylan Grodner and I am the founder of LightSaver. I created LightSaver with the goal of making the community of South Florida a safer place to bike. In 2020, my family and I moved from New York to Florida. One of the things I was really excited about was being able to bike all year long. Once I moved, I had learned of an extremely devastating story of a student at my school getting hit and killed by a car as he was riding his bike. A few weeks later a friend that I had known from Pre-School had also been hit and killed as he was riding his bike. This is when I knew change was needed. I decided to start LightSaver, a Non-Profit Organization that educates people on the importance of bike lights. I have also been raising money in order to give out free bike lights. Overall, I am creating a safer environment, one where I can light the way to a safer ride.
